Legend of Dracula Negru de Dragasani/Merlot red wine

RIGIN: Negru de Drăgăşani is a unique and native grape variety, created by crossing Negru Vârtos and Saperavi or Băbească Neagră (These are indigenous varieties to Romania). The potential of this variety is expressed through its high antioxidants content that maintains proper acidity, even in advanced phases of super-maturity.  These wines present a very balanced composition, rich color, and very favorable on the palette.
TASTING: Clear, bright, intense ruby red with violet hues and intense aromas of black cherries and forest fruit with hints of spices. Dry, full-bodied, strong and balanced, with round tannins, fruity notes and a persistent finish. It is recommended to be served at 15˚C, matched well to red meats, small game, traditional Romanian red meat-based dishes, fresh cheeses.
